About Us
Embryo Films was formed in 1999, as a simple entity through which to produce an independent feature film called 6,000 Miles from Hollywood. While that project fell through, Embryo Films continues to expand into an award-winning company, and is now wholly owned by Borderless Pty Ltd.
Our aim is to build an independent film and television studio entirely from the ground up. We plan to eventually make 3-6 quality feature films per year alongside ongoing television productions.
To that end, we have also maintained a continued focus on screenplay development tools and education. We have spent over a decade building a systematic screenplay development system to serve these larger goals.
